Marari Devan (Sree Mahadeva)

The main deity here is Marari Devan in the Swayambhoo bhaava. The Sreekovil is square shaped, with the walls constructed using hard rocks, and the roof being made by timber and covered by copper sheeting.

Lot of sculpture works are done around the Sreekovil, which makes the Sreekovil rich in heritage. Also there is a sculpture of NANDI in the mandapam. The Balikkal pura is constructed using timber and the roof covered using copper sheets.

The BALIKKALLU and SAPTHAMAATHRUKKAL are placed according to the temple rules. The DHWAJAM (KODI MARAM) is made using panchaloha, except for the seven rings in the middle, which is made in bronze. The rings made of panchaloha are beautified by gold covering.

 The ancient dhwaja of the temple was constructed of wood, and this had damages in the interior in due course of time. The present Dhwaja was constructed and PRATHISTHA done in 1997.

Sree Mahadeva is worshipped by devotees here in three different bhaavas, namely MARARI who is Samhaara Moorthy. DAKSHINA MOORTHY, the Aadi guru who is in meditation SAAMBA SHIVAN, where Maheshwaran and Sree Parvathy are together

Sree Parvathy Devi

Sree Parvathy Devi, in her Swayamvara bhaava, sits opposite to Sree Mahadeva. A permanent Dhwaja was made just in front of the sanctum sanctorum as a special measurement. The sreekovil is square shaped and the roof is covered by copper sheets. The idol of Sree Parvathy, which is covered in silver, is visible behind the Swayambhoo bimbam.

Offerings such as Abhishekam, pooja, pushpanjali etc. are done on the Swayambhoo bimbam. A permanent dhwaja was not made for Sree Parvathy due to space limitations. A temporary dhwaja used to be prepared here in previous years. But a permanent dhwaja has been constructed this year, the Prathistha of which is planned on 30 Jan 2012

Sree Mahavishnu

The MahaVishnu temple lies to the north of the Sree Mahadeva temple. The deity worshipped here has the chaitanya of the ancient Manuvelil Vishnu temple, which was situated at the place where this temple is presently built. The deity at this temple is Lord Vishnu, who resides here as Dhanwanthari Moorthy. Dhanwanthari Moorthy is the one among the avathara of MahaVishnu. He is the founder of Ayurveda , a system of medicine in Vedas .Lord Dhanwanthari hold Shanghu, Chakra. Atta (Leech), Amruthu Kumbhan People believe that all ailments can be cured if we worshiped him. Main offerings are Palpayasam Thrikaivenna Santhan Gopala Pushpanjali. Special festival days are Ashtamirohini and Punaprathishta Varshikam.

The exact age of this temple is unknown ! this is constructed years after the construction of Sree Mahadeva temple. The Viana mandapam (Marriage Hall) is situated towards the east of the Lord Vishnu temple Allie marriages held at this temple take place here. Even if the marriage ceremonies are held at the auditorium, people do often come to this temple for the THAALIKETTU.

Ganapathi, Shaastha & Subramanian

These deities are situated in the Chuttambalam. These Gods are of the THEVAASA nature. Lord Ganesha, who is together with Lord Shiva, is very powerful. Neeraanjana Karuka maala, Panchaamritham, Ellu nivedyam. Ellu vilakku are the main offerings here.

Deva Yakshi

The Deva Yakshi nada is situated towards the east of the Vishnu temple. The Yakshi here is powerful and lot of people worship her for relief from ghostly things and from enemas DHAARA and GURUTHI are the main offerings here.

Yakshi Amma

The deity lies at the southern part of the temple, near to the Navagraha temple. This Y. Amma is the devatha of the Kundelattu family. Tne deity was earlier placed at the Kundelattu family, and was later placed at this temple premises.
